Mac OS 9.0.4

OK I baught a Mac PPC 5400 from ebay. (Just to play with BeOS, MacOS classic etc..) But it came with MacOS 9.0.4 but no CD's --- How do I make a cr-rom (bootable) from this drive so that I can install a 4 gig vs 1.2 gig --- I also have a B&W so I guess I could put the HD in there and the 4 gig as slave and boot from the 1.2 and drag the system OS over to the other drive ???? I think I am right ....Heelp

I am not sure if I understand exactly what you want to do. If you need a backup CD, just copy the system folder and the utility folder from the machine you have the burner attached to and burn that.
The 5400 can only go up to OS 9.1 so you have a limit on that.

Copying a system folder to boot from is tricky. You are better off having the complete install. You might be able to get the OS 9.1 CD from
