Mac OS 9.2.2 & Lexmark X85 All-in-one

I'm trying to install a Lexmark X85 All-in-one printer onto an iMac running OS 9.2.2

I follow all the onscreen instructions and when it asks me to choose it within the Chooser I get the following message:

"The printer driver could not be loaded. Quit the application, give it more memory in the Finder and try again. If that fails, quit other applications and try again. If that fails, use the installer to reinstall the printing software."

I've tried the solution on the Lexmark website and it still doesn't work, it just repeats the same message.

Can anyone help?

and what is the solution on the website? also, how much ram do you have? what are the memory settings of the driver? do you have vm turned on?
