Hey guys, Paul here.
I've been looking through the forums to find an answer to my problem but unfortunately I haven't been able to find many ways to help.

My problem is I currently own a Mac Powerbook G4 (OS X 10.4.11) and I wish to upgrade to Mac 10.5 or the highest possible upgrade I can.

I was just wondering if anyone could provide any download links for me and explain what my system will require to enable me to do so.

I am in a position to be able to pay for download if needed but i'd rather keep the costs to a minimum. Im hoping it will be free or quite cheap as powerbooks are quite old now.

Any additional information just ask, in desperate need of some help, this is my first Mac so my knowledge is really basic.

Thanks,
Paul

You cannot legally download MacOS X 10.5. You must purchase a retail MacOS X 10.5 DVD [and not the grey System Restore disc that shipped with some Mac]. If your PowerBook G4's processor speed is 867 MHz or greater, then MacOS X 10.5 should install from the DVD without issue. If your processor speed is slower than 867 MHz, then there are unsupported legal workarounds to install the OS on your PowerBook.
