Hardware:
  1. Macbook Pro
  2. G4 Processor
  3. OS X Operation System

Situation: As The Macbook is started, all is well, until.... There is the normal blue screen with window of "Mac OS X" and a blue, animated loading bar. The bar loads as would be normal. When it seems as it is completing, (the bar is full), it keeps going. (animated bar included) This does not stop. The computer has to be forced to shut down. I am not too knowledgable concernig Apple computers and have no idea of what to do. Below is the events leading up to this predicament.

Previous Activities Leading to Problem:
  1. Editing video in Final Cut Pro (no problems)
  2. Apply two types of video filters to whole sequnce
  3. Then render all of footage using "command-r"
  4. Action takes quite some time
  5. Macbook informs of a needed restart while the rendering is still processing
  6. These events happen 4 times.
  7. This time, start computer, PROBLEM

Make sense?
Any solutions?
I've heard of command-s and/or command-v during reboot, will that help? (although I wouldn't know what to do after those actions)
