Mac OS X dial-up remote access

Hi all,
Has anyone had problems using MacOS 10.3 to dial out from hotel rooms, where a number has to be dialled to obtain an outside line dial tone?
Our Mac OS 10.3 machine has problems dialing in this situation. Can anyone help?

Yes, here is the solution

Go into network preferences and select the modem
Click on the Assist me botton at the bottom
Create a new location called hotel or something
Enter the info - using the assistant is the only way I have found to add the extra number to dial out of a hotel or pbx.
