Mac OSX 10.4 opening a word doc in powerpoint?

Is this possible on a MAC? I'm building slides from a bulleted list in Word, trying to open the file in powerpoint. This was successful on my PC using the "open all file types" format options on the open prompt. Any ideas on how I can do this on my mac? The mac wants to open it where it originated in word.

Nevermind, got it! In Word you need to enable the command "Save File As Powerpoint" to your toolbar...
