Mac OSX Mail software - who did it?

wonder if anyone knows which company or group actually developed the MacOSX Mail software as I am desperately trying to get into contact with the guys.

I am interaction artist

oh, cool, your website is really cool, i would like to do something like that once i have learned flash and other web apps a little more
