Hi All!

I would need help!
I am experimenting with MAC-PC Filetransfer through a CD-ROM.

1. I "Stuff" some files.
2. Write them on a CD.
3. Put the CD into a PC.
4. Unstuff them.
5. Stuff them again.
6. Write them on a CD again.
7. Put the CD into my Mac.

And now the problem:
8. Cannot be read under Mac (They are Final Cut Pro Project files)

OK, I know: data fork and resource fork.
How could I preserve them in the above descripted process (1-7)?

Please help me if somebody can. Is there any program which could unstuff my mac-stuffed file preserving resource fork - maybe in another file. (Stuffit for windows have I)

Thank You very much for your urgent reply,
Mark

You can open the file on the PC. You work on it, then when you stuffit it - what are you using? If you use .zip, then the Mac should be able to unstuff it with the latest version of Stuffit Expander.

Your problem could be that the Mac does not recognize the file because it was changed on the PC.
You could check to see if the program on the PC can save the file as Mac version. You will find it under Save As.

Or you can get MacLinkPlus Deluxe. www.dataviz.com

This program will translate the PC document to a Mac document. And it can do the reverse and convert the Mac document to PC. They make a Windows version too.
