Mac startup sound

I am looking for the Mac startup sound in midi format, so I can use it as a polyphonic ringtone on my GSM. Does anyone have a clue where I can get it?

if you download mactracker from versiontracker.com (http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=10816&db=mac) and then open it search for updates and dl the update. use this program maybe inside thae package contents you can find the file you're looking for.

found all chimes of all macs created plus more uploading it to my iDisk...it will stay there till .Mac comes into effect and iTools is no longer...http://homepage.mac.com/spitty27/chimes hope it works

Sorry, but the startup sound is stored in the firmeware of the computer, not the OS. Therefore, you can only change the chime by updating (hacking? ) your computer's firmware, not by replacing some hidden sound file...
