Macbook camera isn't working right...

To be honest, this probably happened because everytime I open my macbook I press on the isight screen. Its right in the center, next to the indent in the laptop where your supposed to open it. Such poor designing...

Anyways. Lately, when I try to take a picture it gets all these little lines through it (check out the attached picture)

If I don't move at all, though, and have my laptop on a hard surface so it can't move either, the camera will fix itself after a couple seconds.

No, you're in the right spot. You just have to be a little patient as not everyone is here at the same time (such is life in the global village we call Earth :D). Sometimes it's just that people are still trying to search for a solutions. And sometimes it's just that people have not seen it since they haven't logged in for quite a while (this is the first time I'm seeing this).

You mentioned that when you have it sitting still it stops doing that "effect". Are you moving when trying to use the camera? Does it do it when you're just sitting down with the MacBook on your lap?

If it still exhibits this behavior, you might want to take it to the nearest Apple Store to have it looked at. Since it should still be under warranty, you might be able to have it repaired at no cost.

It does it when i'm moving a little bit, or when it moves a little bit. Not when its been sitting still for a few seconds. It didn't used to do this at all... I have applecare, so I guess i'll just take it into the store. How would they fix it? Would it take a long time? The closest apple store is a few hours away from me so i'd hate to have to drop it off and come back.

I doubt anybody could tell you via internet how long it would take. Maybe it's a simple problem, maybe it's a replacement issue. I'm hoping for you that somebody will chime up knowing a simple fix.
