Hi,
I wonder if anyone could advise me on the following issue. I am running a macbook pro partitioned to run windows in addition (installed several months back). About 1 week ago and for no apparent reason, I have found that I am having difficulty booting up from cold with no audible chime or beeps. After several attempts, the computer eventually boots up and runs fine therafter. Restarting after full shut down is fine provided I do this within say 30 minutes of shut down. Thereafter, I'm back to the same business of 5 - 50 attempts to start up.
Ive tried resetting PRAM and have re-installed the original version of 10.4 supplied but without any effect. I'm still under warrantly and I guess that's the next move unless anyone has any other suggestions.
