MacBook Pro Display Issues

I have a Macbook Pro with Tiger and recently started to notice a problem with my screen. In some occasions the screen has like a white layer that doesn't allow you to see anything. This usually lasts a couple of minutes and then it goes away. However, since yesterday the screen resolutions is not the same. Everything in the screen seems to be pixelated to the point that it is very hard to read the menus. I restarted many times; let the computer cool down, and still the resolution is bad. I try changing the display and nothing happens. It looks like the screen is dying. My computer is only 2 years old. Any suggestions?

Run Apple Hardware Test - restart computer holding down d key. Select extended test and run in loop (ctrl+L) for a few hours. It will stop when a) there is an error detected or b) when you use the same key combination to unloop.

There are other hardware tests available too but AHT is built-in and easiest to use when in doubt.

Do you have any added RAM on your system?
And did the behavior seem to depend on e.g. hardware's temperature or how much graphics were used previously?
 
Which model is it? It may be eligible for a logic board replacement is it qualifies as one of the units with the faulty NVidia GPU.
