the screen on my macbook recently began to flicker. it is not drastic, but noticeable and annoying. can you advise what this may be associated with?
is it a common problem that may be covered by warranty for exchange?

IF you are under warranty or have Apple Care [Tm.--Ed.], why not just take it to your Local Happy Apple Store/Retailer/Booth to have them look at it? It is not "normal" for that to happen.
