Machine won't restart?

Insert something here...
This is the first time I've come across such a problem so maybe someone has some words of wisdom. I've upgrade my friends PowerBook (333 Lombard with 384MB Ram) from Mac OS 8.6 to Jaguar 10.2.1 with 9.2.2 on the classic side.

Seems know when you Restart the machine it shuts down and thats it? I have to push the reset button to start the machine up again. Sleep and Shut Down features work just fine?

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried runnin the Disk Utility? It should be in the Utilities panel in OS X.

You could run disk Warrior or Norton Utilities. Norton has an OX 10 version out. Have it fix all the problems it finds.

Or you could re-install OS X. Just boot up with the Jaguar CD. Do not initialize the drive, just do the install. It will not touch any of the applications or programs that you have already installed.
