Macosx.com on your desktop :)

You may think that the title of this post means that you'll have an icon leading to macosx.com on your desktop. You'd be wrong. This is MUCH cooler. You can put the macosx.com web site (actually any web site) as part of your desktop. How? Point your browser to http://stevenf.com/mt/archives/000341.php and download WebDesktop. You can then have the macosx.com new posts page (http://macosx.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew) as a part of your desktop, sort of like Active Desktop on Windows. It can even refresh every so often to keep you uptodate with new posts at macosx.com

My desktop is cluttered enough with the still image of my favourite webcomic character, my mounted disks, all the downloads I haven't filed away yet and, the folders of downloads I have partially filed away.

Why would I wanrt to put a Webpage on there two?
