Mac's and Intranet

I have created an intranet using MS Front Page and hosting it on a XP Pro computer. I can't seem to get any of my Mac's to see the site at all. Is there something that I need to load on the XP machine to make this happen? Whenever I try to go to the site it just comes up with a site finder website. It doesn't give any kind of error message or DNS message. Any help would be great.

How do your Windows computers access the site? Do you use a URL? What URL are you entering on the Macs? What browser do you use? Have you tried connecting to the XP machine by IP address?
