I am running a G5 with OSX 3.9.
I use it for Music and Video applications.
Hooked up to the mac is an Maudio Ozone Midi USB keyboard.
I use Cubase SX as my midi sequencer, as well as Reason.
My question is; why cant i play/hear/select GM sounds.
Is there a cheap GM soft Synth available either as a Vsti or a stand alone application that can be routed through Cubase.
The Roland Sound Canvas used to full fill this function, but it doesnt run on OSX. I do not run OS 9.
I need to run GM sounds because it is required By the EDEXCEL examinations board for the music Tech Alevels
