Mail.app misbehaving

There is a problem with Mail.app on my 15" iMac. In what seems like a random pattern Mail will not display the message. For instance I will get an email from Kodak that is ~25K in size when I try to view (read) it in Mail.app all I get is a blank screen.

Now if I go to commcenter.attbi.com and view my email on the web I can see the message just fine. This does not make me happy.

I have been using Mail.app for about a year and this behavior just started and it doesn't appear to matter what the size or content of the message contains.

Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior and more importantly how to fix it.

Yes. Sort of. For example: It says "Getting message 2 of 2.." and when it stops, no new message is shown in the list. But when I do it trough Safari (or any other browser), I just see the 2 new mails. This has occured sometimes and has started around 2 weeks ago. Annoying.

Btw I'm using a 15" iMac too.
