I have just backed up and wiped my disk (OS 10.4.1 on an original dual 2 G5) but after putting mail preference file and the "mail" folder with all of my emails back into the correct places in my home folder I can receive emails fine on my many accounts (all POP) but if I try to compose an email I can enter an email address etc, but cannot put the cursor in the "message body" box. If I try to send a blank email the Send button does not work.
I have tried repairing permissions, tried the Keychain first aid, and DiskWarrior just in case, but with no luck.
I have done this procedure many times in the past without these problems. What have I done wrong...? or is this a new thing with system 10.4?
Everything else in the system is working perfectly.
