Mail Frozen

Hi there:

I tried to send a number of iphoto pictures in high quality and when it went to Mail to send it wouldn't send. The beachball kept twirling on and on. It wouldn't respond to anything. I Forced Quit it and when I went back in the same mail I was trying to send with the pictures still on with the beachball twirling. None of the features will work, mail is responding to nothing.

I forced quit a number of times and when I go back in it is the same mail and pictures with that dreaded beachball. I tried to go into iphoto to send a 'small' picture but it wouldn't even recognize I had tried to send mail.

I ran Yasu and repaired permissions. Still frozen. HELP!

What's your machine/RAM, how many pictures were you trying to send at once, and how big were they?

One suggestion, without knowing any more about your situation, is to download OnyX and run the Cleaning tasks, making sure to delete System caches.
