Mail Help

Please help me before i kill Mail. When i replay to a message, and have some text selected, that's all that shows up in the message i compose. I want the entire message, regarldess, to show up. Now i thought it was as easy as clicking a radio button but, unless i'm doing it backwords, it doesn't work. See pict to see my prefs.

don't select text before hitting the reply button!!
the feature is kewl, actually if i want to reply only to some phrases, i select just those so i have only what i need.
select nothing, or entire message if you want to reply and leave all message with your reply

Yea i know that but i don't always remember that i have something selected. And it buggs the crap outta me.
