To Whom It May Concern,
I use a VPN connection at my school to get on the Internet and to play games. The computer that is serving the VPN is running some form of a Windows 2003 Sever. I can connect to it fine, as do all the Windows clients. However, unlike all my Windows-based friends, I have random connection problems. The VPN connection timer still displays me as connected, but I will stop receiving Internet connection. An example of this is when I am playing a MMORPG, I get disconnected and am unable to reconnect, all the meanwhile the VPN says that I am still connected. I can solve the problem temporarily by closing, and reopening the VPN connection. The Windows computers don't seem to have this problem at all.
Do you have any idea of what is going on, and if so know of a way to fix the problem? I have access to the VPN so I can change settings there is need-be.
