So, long story short, a few years ago, a friend was getting rid of her ibook g4, what I believe to be a leopard.
it was in kinda cruddy shape and she didn't have the OS disc. she asked if I wanted it. Of course I said sure. (She's got money to throw away).
well, last year it froze. And.... After a restart, it never worked again.
Instead, it boots up like it always did. Except, when it shows the percentage bar, it goes by incredibly fast. Like, within 10 seconds. then, it turns blue.
Next, a black screen comes up:
December 31 18:34:01 Stephanies-iBook-G4 getty: /dev/console: Operation not supported by device
Then, it goes back to blue, then balck with the error. It does this infinitely.
I have no idea what to do. Please help.
