Major Help Needed

Ok, so my wife couldn't install programs to her mac. It keeps asking for a password that she cannot remember.

The lock is locked, so we can't change anything.

I used the CD and went to the utilities and reset her user password there, but it mentions that it does not reset her keychain password.

Well, I can't log in to change anything. How the heck am I supposed to change her keychain password?

Will she lose the thousands of pictures that she has taken if I do reset it?

Is there some way to save the data?

PLEASE help.

You won't lose the pictures.
After you have changed the password with the Mac OS X install disc, log in to the computer. Start Keychain application (in /Applications/Utilities), and from its menus, select Repair Keychain. That will sync the old password to the new password.
