Make Quicktime open fullscreen trailers

Ever since iTunes started being able to view movie trailers, when you view them through Safari and select a fullscreen one, it opens up iTunes. This is annoying and I want it to open Quicktime like it used to.

Does anyone know how to change it back to opening Quicktime?

If you'll point to an example, I'm sure some of us would be
happy to futz around and see what we can do.

Well, it isn't just Safari. Seems to be a wonderful new Apple marketing
ploy. Note at the Apple site it says some trailers require iTunes 4.5 or
later. And no matter the "trailer park" I visit, the only full-screen-ers
are from Apple via the iTunes store. Steve's at it again!

Well, that's kind of lame and doesn't make much sense why they should make it open iTunes instead of Quicktime. Especially since I can't even get iTunes to open the fullscreen video.

Seems to be working now. I still don't get why iTunes should show Quicktime movies instead of Quicktime.

Long story short, it's a way to get you into Apple's sales pitch. If the best quality trailer opens into iTunes, you might while you are there make some song purchases. I also believe that they have disabled the saving of these highest res trailers in iTunes, so you cannot DL it, and then make it available without going thru iTunes.

At one time, they were disabling saving of the full screen versions of trailers via the QT plugin in your browser, they just moved to iTunes to do this.

Seems silly to me but thats how they are doing it for now.
