Making a large simple non-numeric table

I would like to make a table which will be larger than a single sheet of paper. I would also like for someone else to be able to edit it on their computer - something like a wiki or Google Docs. I don't need formulas as I'm not using numbers. However, I would like to be able to add a fair amount of text to one cell - up to perhaps 150 to 200 words.

I've tried the regular spreadsheet in Google Docs and it is rather confusing for me. The text goes to the bottom of the cell. I wish I could say what else was confusing for me but I just seem to get lost in it. I've tried the table under the Spreadsheets but I haven't been able to figure out how to get a simple table using this method. It seems much too complicated for my needs.

I'd like to make a table about 12x15 cells and I'd like to be able to put about 150 to 200 words in a single cell. I'd also like for someone else to be able to edit it. Does anyone know of a site that will let me do this? If so, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know.
Thanks,
Becky

A spreadsheet is not the proper tool for this job. What you have is a fairly standard albeit large table. This is the kind of thing that you create in a word processor or page layout application. If you were using Office, then you would use Word, not Excel.
