Media Center & OSX

Hi

I have got to buy a new PC and just needed to check if anyone knows of any networking issues between "OSX 10.3.9" and "Windows Media Center"
I network fine with XP Pro, and from reading online it looks fine with XP Home.

Windows Media Center is nothing more than a repackaged version of Windows XP Home.

I have found that it's best to check with Microsoft

Since you would be using Samba (SMB) to connect the two over the network, it wouldn't matter what version of Windows you're running. IT should work fine, barring any issues wiht OS X Panther and SMB which has been a known issue. Not sure though if it was resolved in 10.3.9, the last revision of Panther. Tiger (10.4.3) doesn't seem to have this problem based on my experience.
