Hey folks. 
I went to best buy the other day and bought a New Combo drive to put in my B/W G3 running 10.3. They Guy there said sure it will work! I reluctenly trusted him and installed it internaly. Go figure, the puter don't see the drive. It will open and close but Itunes says no CD burner installed. I have spent hours searching the net to find something called "patchburn" and apparently this might work. Has anyone tried this patch? Why won't 10.3 find burner. Is there actually a firmware difference in Drives between Mac and PC boxes?
