Memory in a G4 Powerbook

Hi all,

Could someone please tell me, I have 256Mb ram installed at the moment in my powerbook. I'd really like to increase this. Is there only one slot? And whats the max I can go to please?

There are two slots. You can have anywhere from 1GB to 2GB, depending on which model you have.
 
The first 12" can use, according to Apple, 640MB. According to MacTracker, it'll take 1152MB.

The newer ones, 1.25GB
