Menu Extras overlap menus

Arg, I hate it when this happens. I have quite a few menu extras installed, so when I open up something like Project Builder, it does something like what is shown in the attached screenshot.

Is anybody else annoyed by this, or do I clutter up my menu bar too much like I do my Dock?

I have had that problem too, simX!

I have three extra menus installed. And when I open some programs, such as ProjectBuilder, it's menus covers my menus. But the same way as your though. The menus that I see, is from the program on the top, and it covers the other. I hate it, and it's extremely annoying!

I have the situation where the app menu just obliterates the menu extras, similar to what Kris describes.
One suggestion - instead of having ASM display the whole name of the foremost app, why not go with just the icon? That's what I do, and I have more than half a dozen of those menu extras going at once.
