merging Mpeg's???

Is there an app I can use to merge mpeg's? I have downloaded about 100 one minute clips of a race I want to make it into one movie. I can export each individual file to .mov and then copy and paste in quicktime but that takes forever. imovie doesnt like mpegs. Anything??

I believe there is an app called mpeg append that you can use to join mpegs.

I am still pretty brainless when it comes to the command line. How do you install and use it? It looks like it would work.
