All of my Excel files have two 'ghost' files attached that I cannot trash. When I open the file they come up first, then my file opens. After I close my file I need to close both of them separately. I cannot trash them because it states that I need another worksheet. I then add another worksheet, close it and try to trash it from the Desktop. I put the files in and think that I am done with them, but no, they are still there the next time I open my files.
Do you have any advice? I use Microsoft Excel 2004 for MAC, version 11.5.6
