This is the bases of the switch campaign of Microsoft (trying to get back Linux users to MSFT).

The tricks:
- forget downtime due to virus attacks
- add arbitrary and very high "staffing" costs to Linux, because a Windows trained technician needs extra training when managing a Linux box !

Microsoft fudge figures, that's a fact that you could take to the bank...
 
Didn't Microsoft try something like this before, like getting one of their own employees to give a testimonial on how much better Microsoft is?
