Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth

Looks like a nice product from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/keyboard/wodbt_info.asp . Does anybody know if this would work with OS X? Also, would you need to use the included MS Bluetooth dongle, or could you use a 3rd party one or a built in one (new Macs).

The 10.2.5 upgrade included greater bluetooth compatibility. The Microsoft product will work with OS X 10.2.5.

Concerning the third party dongle, I don't know.

it looks kind of nice but I can't see how you could put that monster of a keyboard in front of a monitor running os x
its crude and unrefined compared to a pro keyboard and mouse man!

It may not be bluetooth but it will work with your Mac; I know because I own one.

Besides Mac users can program this one; I don't believe you can program the Microsoft one except with Windows XP.

Yeah I have the same Logitech one, it is quite nice indeed. Bluetooth would be nice with a computer with built in Bluetooth though, no need for a USB RF receiver.
