mighty mouse undetectable

My macbookpro can see the mouse but can't make a connection. The configuration-assistent ask to keep the mouse in range + use new batteries. I did't that... the green light goes on and of all the time. What's wrong?
 
Make sure your Bluetooth is on for your Location (apple menu). Are you on Automatic? If so, make sure Bluetooth is on. Go to apple menu/Location to open those preferences.

You may have to delete your Bluetooth instance for your mouse and then re add it. Sometimes when they are added they don't get completed and so don't connect.
