Missing Icons for Print Center

Need help. After installing 10.2.3 which has updated my Print Center to Version 2.2 I have discovered that firstly the Default Print Center Icon is missing showing the standard paper, brush, pencil icon. Also when Application open does not show Icon in Dock. Also when I open App. All default icons are missing except customise. How do I fix this. I have reinstalled Print Center but to avail. I assume I have to replace something within the library folder but I haven't a clue what. Please help.
 
Just another note about Print Center. I have managed to get the application icons sorted by copying the Print Center app from another Mac running 10.2.3. I then had to delete my printers and reinstall.

Yet I still have a problem in that when I send a job to print I am getting a description for a job I was printing out before Xmas and this happens with every job I send.

Has anyone any ideas. Bring back the simplicity of OS9 when I could just dump preference files. Can anyone advise.
