monitor CRT display

i have power book G4 1.25 and i try to plug external monitor LACIE 19CRT and i dont get the some quality like when i connect the ibook to lacie any help ?

Guess we need some more info about your crt and the settings on your powerbook. Your ibook will use the mirror mode when you plug an external screen while you can change the resolution of the external screen when plugged to the powerbook.
Open System Preferences and Screen. You will find another window on the external screen. Adjust the resolution and some colour settings. Hope this will help.
