I am running mac os x 10.4.8 on a MacBook.
I have activated Windows File Sharing in System Preferences/Sharing. I want a way to monitor the file sharing activity under windows you can easily see who is connected to your machine under what user name and what files they are accessing.
I was reading an article at http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2003/05/30/macosxhints.html
which details a method to activate logging for AppleFileServer in os x 10.3 using net info manager. I have tried this and under 10.4.8 AppleFileServer doesn't seem to appear especially not in the net info manager.
Has this changed and if so how do I enable logging for the information I want?
Also does anyone know of any real time monitoring software for this kind of information? in particular how do I terminate a specific connection?
Thanks in advance
