Monitoring FTP access

I've started to enable FTP access to let my non-mac friends download stuff easily from me. Now I wonder if there's an easy way to monitor their whereabouts, as was possible with the FTP daemons I tried on the PC before switching.
I specifically would like to monitor their actions, and if possible view the throughput.

Thanks for replying. I was thinking along the lines of monitors for the built-in FTP daemon, since it's so nicely intergrated into the system. But I'll try these out as well.
