Monitoring remote users

Remember that feature of the mac os 9 file sharing control panel where you could see what afp users where connected and you could disconnect them and what not, is there any utility that can accomplish that in x?

you could try "who" at the unix prompt but i have a feeling that is just for sessions involving ssh and telnet etc...

i tried who with samba and it didnt work, so i doubt it will with afp, the problem is im not on a network so i cant test an afp server locally but i can test the samba server locally. i dunno though, im going to read the man page for it.
