hi all,
it says in the literature that my, nvidea 2mx card in my g4 supports 2 monitors, the lcd one i'm using uses the small 3x5 pin (half inch long) one..

how do i get my old apple 15' monitor to use the other one, the male connector on the monitor is about 1" long and has 13 pins, the spare socket on the card has (3x10 + 2x2) pin holes..

If I understand you correctly. Your old Apple monitor has a larger pin set? If so you will need a ADC(Apple Display Connector)->VGA. If you old monitor is like mine, it was not a standard VGA connection, called ADC, used on most beige Apple's at that time.
I may be misunderstanding your question.

yes thats it, the 17" display is fom an old g3, i've worked out i can connect this the one of the o/ps via and adapter, but i dont know what standard the other o/p is on my card..

new info, using the ever usefull wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dvi)
i've come up with......i need a DVI-I dual to DVI-D single, adapter???

does this make sense to anyone..???
