More Site Changes Coming...

As you can see, we are taking a much undertaking on getting this site prepared for the next phase of our construction.

I have taken the steps to bring all the forums back to the "root" level of the site to make it easier and to let everyone know everything we have to offer.

Coming changes...

We are seriously thinking of adding a "main page" to the site. The focus of the site would still be around the forums and the community we have, but it would also focus on the "HELP" features we have like HOW TO sections and such. We might even introduce some "Open Columns" so you as a user of this site, can get a little publicity on your opinion... technology wise.

This is something we feel would add value to the site, and take us to the next step. Let us know your thoughts.

is there any way we could add the site links to the bottom of the page as well as the top? It would be nice to just be able to click to go back to start once thru reading the thread rather than having to scroll to top or reach for back button? just an ergonomic thought. I like the new organization of opening page. this was a good move. who knows, this might reduce moving articles by 10% or more!! maybe someone will actually find the posts I've made somewhere other than general discussion!! I know I am relatively new here, but i love this site. i learn something on almost every visit. and visits are turning into 3 or more a day when it's active.

I think this is pretty good as a BB discussion site. Maybe you could install the latest slashback thingy and we could compete with macslash?

I dunno, as long as you kept the forums as a major highlight, it'll be alright whatever you choose to do.

thread titles seem ok, but i just realized yesterday after posting to several threads that it splatered my name all over the first page the way it is now. I wasn't real thrilled with that. I don't mind people who have enough interest to dig inside to know who i am and what i'm doing here, but people just cruising thru on their way to the donut shop shouldn't have such instant information.

why don't you just bookmark your user cp page and come in thru your own backdoor. I just switched my user cp page to my icab startup page so now I get a quick look at the things I am interested in everytime I launch. Loving it so far.
