More than 9000 jobcut (Motorola)

Doesn't IBM also manufacture PPC chips? Or am I living in a dreamworld?

Actually, I have an IBM G3/400 (overclocked) chip in my Powermac 8600 :)
 
In the semi industry, you cannot tell where a chip comes from by reading what is written on top of it. Many Moto chips have been fabd at IBM.
