Motorola ROKR E2 won't have iTunes

I've read that about two months ago... Ah yeah: In January even... -> http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2006/01/20060103020032.shtml

And about the reasons: Have you ever seen how *bad* an iTunes phone it is? Slow as molasses the interface, there's a, what, 100 MB or 100 song limit or something? If I were Apple, I'd not allow Moto to make any more iTunes phones until _Apple's_ in charge of everything about the iTunes client, fonts included. But I guess it's the hardware, too. Either way: I don't think the world misses much if Moto's phone have no iTunes.

i've heard it's actually apple's fault this has happened. apple has placed a 100 song limit on their itunes software so as not to hurt their ipod sales. motorola have got annoyed with this and gone elsewhere for their software.

Curses to Apple for not making the rumors of the disappearance of the iTunes-enabled ROKR true. Motorola now also makes the iTunes-enabled SLVR. Double curses to Apple for forcing Motorola to develop a much better product.
