Mounting an FTP volume using Connect to Server

I can mount an ftp volume/user using connect to server using ftp://user@ftpserver.com.au...

But... I can only do a get file not put file i.e. I can copy off the volume not back to it.

It would be very handy to be able to do this, then I wouldn't need 3rd party software to do it for me.

Any ideas?

Only read access is supported at the moment.
Hopefully Apple will fix this in a future release.

There is freeware called RBrowserLite that will let you get and put. I've used it to upload web pages and graphics. and it works really good. Give it a try.
