Moving From Windows to Mac

I have been using a Mac OSX after years of using windows
and it seems there is no escaping it now that theApples using
hardware and software in new macs,I have a Powerbook G4
and none the virtual windows type software can work on
macs without the intel chips,is there a way using it
on the PowerBook ?.

You can use Virtual PC, which is an emulator that lets you run x86 (Intel-compatible) OSes on PowerPC Macs like your PowerBook.

Unlike the virtualization products available for Intel Macs (like Parallels), Virtual PC is very slow, because emulation is required. It not really usable for anything too complex.

There are other emulators available as well, like the free Q emulator. They're generally slower than Virtual PC, and also a bit harder to configure (in my experience, anyway).

The other one that you might want to try out is called "Q", which uses the QEMU emulator. Like Virtual PC, it's slow and might be a little unstable for some operating systems, but it's open source which means it's free for use. I have it running on my iMac G5 when I want to test out some PC operating systems like Windows, Linux, or the free BSDs. You can find it at the following link:
