mozilla is stuck in french

i'm using mozilla firefox on my macbook, and its stuck in french. I tried going to

Firefox/preferences/advanced/languages and taking out the francais, replacing it with anglais.... but its still in french. What can i do?

Try moving the preference file to the desktop. It's in /Users/<you>/Library/Prefernces/, and it should be called org.mozilla.firefox.plist

Why not just go to the download site and get Firefox that already has the language pack that you want to use?
