I'm not sure if many people do this, but I have my aqua Mozilla and my Xwindows Mozilla so that when I log in as >console I have a decent browser. I had it all running but I tried it today and no dice.

I think the problem is Chimera, since I looked at the .mozilla/Profile and the only one there is for Chimera. Am I correct in this assumption that it can't find the profile? It doesn't print any error messages and I don't know where a log of any sort would be. it looks like it's opening but then gives me back my command prompt with no visible change.

I was correct about the profile thing. I deleted the .mozilla folder in my home directory and uninstalled/reinstalled mozilla via fink (its in the unstable section of fink) It worked once and then quit and I didn't open or do anything with chimera. It must be a bug or something that is only in this build of mozilla .99-3
