Mpeg files

Hi,

Someone has sent me some mpg files to burn to DVD for them. When I try to add them to iDVD it comes up with an error saying:-

UNSUPPORTED FILE TYPE: MPEG VIDEO

It does seem to play when you click on Apple QT.

Do I need to install a particular codec??? Where can I get these from if I need them?

iDVD only supports QT format, so in QT Pro you need to export the MPEG files in QT format.

God I love iDVD but I wish it would support more formats!

This will then allow them to be used in iDVD?

I agree iDVD looks really cool, I cannot understand why more codecs have not been written given that the apples are soo good with movie/video editing etc.
