Okay, so here it is :
I've got some .mpg files that I can easily use to make a VCD with Toast. With some (that are also playable in QT) it doesn't work. When I try to use QT to convert them to Toast VCD format, it tells me that it cannot find a video track (?).
So please, good people, can anybody help me with that ?
Apparently these .mpgs are encoded differently, but how ? Where can I find out ? Has SVCD etc. something to do with it ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

SVCD are VCDs in MPG2 format
There is a program (called VCD gear) which converts files from one video format to the other, download it and do a .mpg --> .mpg convert

They ** might ** be in MPG2 format, but the suffix should be mpg if its just MPG unless someone mislabeled
